Trailers from Hell

JoBloJoBlo

I found the faux trailers to be perhaps the most satisfying part of the GRINDHOUSE experience, and I hope that Eli Roth makes good on his intentions of delivering a feature comprised entirely of fabricated previews.

And I’m not alone in my fondness for the brief cheese tease — some of the “Masters of Horror” such as Joe Dante, Mick Garris and John Landis profess their love for the two-minute clips over at the new site Trailers from Hell, which exhumes and dissects various previews for classic bad flicks.

These guys obviously know their goods, and one of my favorite new directors Edgar Wright (SHAUN OF THE DEAD) piles effusive praise on one of my favorite trash classics, Mario Bava’s work of bizarro genius DANGER DIABOLIK. Check out the site RIGHT HERE!
