Charles Martin Smith's 1986 TRICK OR TREAT (READ MY REVIEW OF IT HERE) is a personal favorite of mine, I watch it every Halloween! It blows my mind that it hasn't gotten a proper DVD or BLU-RAY release in North America (no that shitty DVD with Ozzie and Gene Simmons on the cover doesn't count). I hear "music rights" issues is holding that back. If so then why do the Germans have it on Blu-Ray uncut (I wonder what was added BTW)? But I digress.

Now TRICK OR TREAT is not a great or perfect film. But often enough it's not the masterpieces that stay with you, it's the ones that are the most fun and TRICK OR TREAT is simply a blast! For me, nostalgia also has something to do with. I grew up in the 80's, I was a headbanger and related to a lot that was found in this baby (the bullying aside, I was too insane for anybody to dare). So find below my first VIDEO REVIEW (if you wanna call it that, it's just me rambling with a hangover). ENJOY!
