TRICK R TREAT is getting the same treatement most ‘small horror flicks that look like they’re going to be awesome’ get… it keeps getting pushed back and back with studios playing dodgeball with it.
Way back in April we gave you the bad news that TRICK R TREAT was getting dumped by Warner Brothers. Guess it just wasn’t putting out. Then there were some ramblings that it was looking for distribution elsewhere.
But alas, good ol’ Warner Bros. seem to be coming through in the end. Apparently Warner Brothers recently released a document regarding several of their upcoming projects, and TRICK R TREAT happens to be one of them! Isn’t that something?
That’s phenomenal news seeing how TRICK R TREAT has the potential to be one awesome horror flick. Here’s the synopsis from IMDB: Four interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: An everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the one guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband.
That sounds awesome! I love flicks with overlaping stories, and TRICK R TREAT seems to have that sh*t set up perfectly! Can’t wait for this one. It’s written and directed by Mike Dougherty with a cast that includes: Quinn Lord, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker, Leslie Bibb, Rochelle Aytes, Anna Paquin, Moneca Delain (below), and Lauren Lee Smith. Hopefully we get some more updates for TRICK R TREAT soon. As always, we’ll keep you updated.
