Trigger your coulrophobia with The Jack in the Box trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

4Digital Media has released a trailer and poster online to promote the "heart stopping horror" of THE JACK IN THE BOX, a film they'll be bringing to DVD, plus VOD and Digital HD on leading digital platforms, on May 5th. The trailer is embedded above, and the poster can be seen below.

Written and directed by Lawrence Fowler, the film stars Ethan Taylor, Robert Nairne, and Lucy-Jane Quinlan. The synopsis:

When a museum is donated a vintage Jack-In-The-Box, it s not long before staff member Casey starts to think that the creepy clown doll inside has a life of its own. As he discovers his colleagues are dying, one by one, Casey realises it's up to him to find a way to end the nightmare or become another victim of the box's curse.

Lawrence Fowler also produced the film with Geoff Fowler. It looks like they were aiming to creep out two groups with this one – those who are unnerved by puppets, and those who are afraid of clowns.

If you want to check out THE JACK IN THE BOX, there's less than a month to wait before its release.
