Twilight’s Alex Meraz & David Harbour join David Ayer’s Suicide Squad

There’s no word on who he will be playing, but Variety has learned that Alex Meraz has joined the ensemble cast of David Ayer‘s SUICIDE SQUAD. Meraz played werewolf Paul Lahote in the Twilight series, and starred as a warrior in Terrence Malick‘s THE NEW WORLD. The actor also appeared in NEVER BACK DOWN 2: THE BEATDOWN and the final season of CSI: New York.

Production is underway on SUICIDE SQUAD, and recently a fan posted a picture of himself with Viola Davis (Amanda Waller) as she was getting ready to shoot a scene in Toronto. The fan also met THE EQAULIZER’s David Harbour (apparently another late addition to the cast) and Will Smith (Deadshot).
