The Hollywood Reporter learned today that twin filmmakers Peter and Michael Spierig have been signed on to direct their horror flick DAYBREAKERS for Lions Gate Films.
The two wrote the script about a future world ruled by vampires, with the few humans remaining banding together to take the planet back. If you ask me, it sounds phat– somewhere between THE TERMINATOR meets NEAR DARK and BLADE. And seeing how it’s coming from those who brought us UNDEAD, you know it’s going to deliver.
