Twisted Catacombs

After the huge success of SAW, Twisted Pictures and Lions Gate partnered up for a nine-picture financing and distribution deal. Good news for us genre fans! And now my friends, the first child of that coupling is in the works.

The first flick from the dynamic duo of genre fare will be CATACOMBS, and man does it sound fun: Shannyn Sossamon and Alecia Moore (aka pop singer Pink) will star in the story of a young woman on her first visit abroad. She goes to a party in the Catacombs, a 200-mile labyrinth of ancient limestone tunnels under Paris lined with the remains of 7 million people. When separated from her friends, she becomes convinced that someone or something is chasing her.

Nice, eh? Sounds like THE CAVE meets CREEP, with two very serious hotties running the show. Sign me up for this freakin’ tour!
