News broke a couple months back that North Bank Entertainment was producing a sequel to the exploitation cult classic THE HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK. Now two cool looking teaser posters have popped up, along with the official synopsis:

After thirty years at the mercy of a brutal warden in Sing Sing prison, Ricky is released and returns to the old garage in New York City. Desperate for a place to belong, he falls in with a dangerous sociopath named The Poet and his bloodthirsty girlfriend, Muriel. But the memories of Ricky’s old friend Alex continue to haunt him.

Ruggero Deodato (CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST) returns to direct the sequel to his 1980 effort. Giovanni Lombardo Radice (CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD) will reprise his role as Ricky. The synopsis also mentions the character of Alex, so perhaps David Hess will return as well. The screenplay is written by Andrew Jones, as based on a story by Deodato and Racide.
