CHRONICLES OF NARNIA star Anna Popplewell has grown up fast; she’d have to in order to appear in a movie like PASSENGERS, which appears to be the UK’s answer to I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER.
PASSENGERS tells the story of a group of intoxicated lads who seriously injure a young nurse in a night time collision. They make matters far worse by trying to cover up their mistake by hastening the demise of their victim. This, they come to seriously regret as they realise the extent of their culpability and as an unseen killer proceeds to take brutal vengeance.
Shooting recently wrapped on PASSENGERS, which is the first feature out of the UK-based production company Ratio Film. John Hales wrote and directed. In addition to Popplewell, the film stars Jack Derges, Danny Szam, Ian Weichardt, Calvin Dean, Tom Bacon and Sophie Colquhoun.
No release date has been announced as of yet, but as always, we’ll let you know more when we do.
