Blue Underground will release TORSO (also known as I CORPI PRESENTANO TRACCE DI VIOLENZA CARNALE) on DVD and Blu-ray on July 26. The DVD marks the first release of the uncensored English version, while the Blu-ray will contain both that as well as the original Italian director’s cut.

The discs boast new, high-definition transfers as well as the following special features: “Murders in Perugia” interview with director/co-writer Sergio Martino, U.S. opening credits, trailers, TV and radio spots and a gallery of posters and stills. Check out the cover art to the right.

The 1973 Italian giallo stars Suzy Kendall (below) and Tina Aumont. A series of sex murders shock a college campus, and four beautiful young girlfriends head for the safety of an isolated country villa. But as they succumb to their own erotic desires, their weekend of pleasure becomes a vacation to dismember at the hands – and blade – of the lecherous maniac.
