For whatever reason, we haven’t been too in the loop when it comes to the Uwe Boll-produced ZOMBIE MASSACRE; we wrote about the thing when it was being prepped in September of last year, and that seems to have been the end of it. But today I’ve stumbled across a promo trailer for the film, and felt compelled to share it with you lucky folks.

There is a lot of zombie punching, zombie slicing and even some zombie rats. Yes, this looks like a true winner.

Directed by Luca Boni and Marco Ristori, ZOMBIE MASSACRE plays out like this:

A bacteriological weapon – developed by the US Government to create a super soldier – spreads an epidemic in a quiet little town in the middle od Eastern Europe. All citiziens have been turned into infected zombies. The plan is: to bring an atomic bomb into the nuclear plant of the city to pretend a terrible accident. No one has to know the truth. A commando of mercenaries is hired to do the mission. The battle is on. Hordes of monsters against a bunch of men.

We’ll let you know when ZOMBIE MASSACRE grabs itself an official release date.
