Well, it looks like VAN HELSING will officially return to haunt Syfy for one last time as today we learned the network has renewed the genre series for a fifth and final season. This update hits us just days before the fourth season is set to wrap up with its finale on December 20th.
Production on the final 13-episode season begins early next year.
Chad Oakes, who exec produces the series as co-chairman of producers Nomadic Pictures:
We are thrilled to be able to bring the amazing Van Helsing saga to a close. This could not have been done without the support of our incredible cast, crew, Syfy, Netflix [which pays to stream the series] and Super Ecran.
