Scooby-Doo’s Velma is getting her own adult animated series

Word around the Mystery Machine is that HBO Max will be developing a new, adult animated series based solely on the Scooby-Doo's Velma Dinkley! It will be executive produced by Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project), who will also voice the character as well.

Here's the official description, via press release:

An original and humorous spin that unmasks the complex and colorful past of one of America’s most beloved mystery solvers, executive producer Mindy Kaling will voice the titular character.

No set release date as of yet, but we'll keep you updated!
