Venom 2 will still hit theaters this fall

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

MOGLI director and LORD OF THE RINGS actor Andy Serkis' VENOM 2 with Tom Hardy as Venom and Woody Harrelson as Carnage has wrapped filming. And today we can confirm that, as of now, the sequel will maintain its October release date. Thank God!

Tom Hardy is reprising the role of Eddie Brock in VENOM 2 along with Michelle Williams as Eddie's wife Anne, Naomie Harris as Shriek, and Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady / Carnage. Meanwhile, the first film was rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and for language.

It followed the adventures of

Eddie Brock, a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancee. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers – transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot?

VENOM was directed by Ruben Fleischer (ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP) and starred Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Jenny Slate, and Woody Harrelson. Jeff Pinkner, Scott Rosenberg, and Kelly Marcel wrote the script. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, and Amy Pascal produced. BUY IT HERE.
