Well Platinum Dunes’ FRIDAY THE 13TH is quickly approaching and dare I say it’s looking better and better by the day! People give Plat. Dunes a lot of gripe for their remakes and such… but I haven’t seen any flaws with FRIDAY THE 13TH yet… and I’m pretty sure the majority out there would agree with me.
From gore galore to a hard R rating to an actually decent cast in a FRIDAY THE 13TH flick… this one seems to have it all. My favorite tidbit? It seems FRIDAY THE 13TH is abandoning all the current horror mumbo jumbo and going back to the drawing board: a good ol fashioned 80s slasher! Of course this is all just hopes and dreams thanks to the awesome trailers and such. Time will tell of course.
Today we’ve got a look at the new cover of Fangoria starring… you guessed it! Jason Voorhees! You can scope that out above. Then if you scroll down below you can see Platinum Dunes’ Brad Fuller getting ravaged by Mr. Voorhees. It seems the thing Fuller is hiding behind is the FRIDAY THE 13TH standee you’ll be able to find in theaters across the country.
Not bad at all. Although it seems Jason’s victim on the standee happens to be a female… which makes it a bit awkward for any males out there jumping into Jason’s grasp… Whatever, here’s your chance to get strangled by Jason Voorhees!
