There’s word coming from Bloody Disgusting on a new, original supernatural thriller. I know, shocking right? And this one actually sounds pretty cool.
It’s titled CEDAR AVE and is set to come from Bold Films. CEDAR AVE was written by the duo of Daniel Weissenberger and Adrian Langley and is about a medical student, who never knew his father growing up, inheriting his father’s house after his passing. After observing several odd characteristics of the house, combined with random “bumps in the night,” we learn that the young man’s father was not only a serial killer, but one of his victims is still alive and trapped in the house.
Like I said, pretty cool right? I can see some similarities to something like STIR OF ECHOES, but I think CEDAR AVE has enough going for it from just the plot alone to let it stand on it’s own. Imagine finding out your father was this vicious serial killer and that he’s still got a victim trapped in the house you just inherited? That victim must be pretty pissed right? What do you do?
