Man, oh man, oh man! I love Vegas! And I love George Romero! So what is a dude to do but nearly explode with happiness at the news that LAND OF THE DEAD will close the Cinevegas Film Festival on June 18th? That’s six full days ahead of its nationwide theatrical release. Sweeeet!
Except for, oh yeah, I can’t make it. And here I was looking forward to testing that whole what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas thing with Asia Argento. Oh well.
But if you happen to have some free time, or are already lucky enough to have plans to go, well happy day for you. The screening will be at the Palms (of Celebrity Poker Showdown fame). Producer Mark Canton will also present Romero with the well deserved 2005 Vanguard Director Award.
