Marvel Studios has released a new teaser for the upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision. The latest look at the series features plenty of new footage, which has Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) trapped in a revolving door of suburban sitcom comedies. As the trailer plays on, we find Wanda discovering strange new things about her surroundings, lending credence to the notion that it's all a part of some elaborate prison of the mind. As reality continues to unravel, Wanda and Vision make their way through a series of TV-related tropes, each more antiquated than the last.
In addition to today's trailer, it was also announced by Marvel that WandaVision will feature a total of nine episodes.

Marvel Studios presents WandaVision, a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) – two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives – begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is the head writer.
In addition to Olsen and Bettany, WandaVision will also star Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, a character who was introduced as a child in Captain Marvel, Randall Park as Marvel's favorite FBI agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes.
During the lead-up to Marvel's WandaVision, fans of the MCU have developed some wild theories as to what is actually happening in the series. My favorite among them is the idea that Wanda has suffered a psychotic break after Vision died at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, and that the suburban prison we're seeing is a place where she can work through the pain. There's also a theory going around that Hahn's Agnes is really the Marvel villain Agatha Harkness, who's looking to put Wanda through her paces for one reason or another. Thankfully, we won't have to wait long to find out seeing as WandaVision debuts on January 15 on Disney+.
