SEX AND THE CITY is gearing up to be a summer movie slapping me in the face when it comes to my summer blockbuster predictions… could WANTED be another?
I’m talking about the action packed comic book adaptation of WANTED. IRON MAN proved a lot of stuff, one thing is that people love their comic book action. And the swaying opinions on INDY 4 just seem to show people want that comic book action style as opposed to the action-adventure groove.
Oh how the world changes. Anyway, even if I still prefer my action gritty, WANTED is hitting theaters in a month so we’ve been slapped with the official website for the flick.

A simple rundown of WANTED off of IMDB states the synopsis is: A young man finds out his long lost father is an assassin. And when his father is murdered, the son is recruited into his father’s old organization and trained by a man named Sloan to follow in his dad’s footsteps.
Works for me. The movie is coming from Timur Bekmambetov with a script from Michael Brandt and Derek Haas. It stars James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Common, and Angelina Jolie (below). It hits theaters on June 27.
