Nothing like a bloody shoot ’em up clip from the upcoming PUNISHER: WAR ZONE to start your Monday off on the right foot! If you head on over to the film’s recently pimped out OFFICIAL WEBSITE, that’s exactly the treat you’ll be served… with an introduction from WAR ZONE director Lexi Alexander herself!
Alexander’s introduction may actually snuff those rumors that were floating around this summer about her quitting the film, or her being fired from the film… looks like she’s still working on the flick, baby!
This is the second ‘bad’ rumor to be snuffed in the last couple of weeks over WAR ZONE, the other being that it was going to be PG-13… until a few weeks ago when the MPAA gave it a hard R for its language and violence. Based on this, maybe the movie will end up being awesome, contrary to the belief that the flick is gonna blow chunks…
The new clip is fun, fast, and exciting, but I’m still not sure if it sells Ray Stevenson as the Punisher / Frank Castle. Sure, I’d really like to like the guy in the role, but I’m still not really feeling it. There’s just something ‘off’ about his casting… but we shall see soon enough.
