Ryan Gosling's directorial debut, HOW TO CATCH A MONSTER, is quietly headed our way and it's definitely an intriguing sounding flick. Deadline reports that Warner Bros has just picked up the rights to the film as shooting is currently underway with the gorgeous Christina Hendricks (below) as its leading lady. We all know how talented Gosling is in front of the lens so it's going to be rather interesting to see just what he comes up with as he takes a seat behind the camera for the first time.
He has also written the film which goes something like this:
Set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city where Billy (Hendricks), a single mother of two, is swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Both Billy and Bones must dive deep into the mystery, if their family is to survive.
