WB will not release the Comic Con teaser for Batman V Superman online

Last Updated on February 5, 2026

So, you know that Comic Con teaser for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE that blew the roof off of Hall H last week? Want to know when you can see it online? The answer is…never. Well, not at least for a long time as Warner Bros and DC have elected to keep that a special Comic Con moment.

Variety reports that the footage that was filmed for Comic Con may be kept under wraps for the foreseeable future as Zack Snyder continues filming the follow-up to MAN OF STEEL. BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is still in the midst of filming and was even up to the night before their panel at SDCC so there is a chance what crowds in San Diego saw may have been shot specifically for the convention.

Sue Kroll, Warner Bros Vice President of worldwide marketing provided this comment:

“That’s just going to live in that hall. We’ll post extended trailers and stills, but that presentation, that was just for those fans.”

While bootlegs have been floating around online, I am okay with waiting to see the finished product when WB decides to unveil it. With well over a year left before BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE hits theaters, I am sure we will see plenty to whet our appetites.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE opens on May 6, 2016.
