Well they just keep churning out “Massacre” movies by the dozen nowadays, don’t they? Just yesterday I instant-messaged you guys on a horror/comedy entitled LAN PARTY MASSACRE and today I just caught a whiff of the brilliantly-titled WEENIE ROAST MASSACRE. The good news for you is that you can already grab a hold of this flick which has just been released on DVD through Singa Home Entertainment. So why not fire up the ol’ grill, grab yourself a cold one and an axe and kick back with some cheesy, cheerleader-filled fun! Now, take a big old bite out of the plot:
Marty Flaherty is an ex high school football star who had his career cut short due to a dehabilitating accident at the annual team weenie roast. He has to deal with the side effects of the resulting medication, as well as the fact that he lost his scholarship and ended up staying at home with his parents. At the annual weenie roast in his honor, things go awry and his friends start dying in horrific ways. Adding to the confusion is a local newsman looking for a shocking story to further his career.
My nose would be growing longer than a freshly-cooked foot-long if I said that didn’t sound like great fun. WEENIE was written and directed by John F.
