A trailer has been released online for director Jimena Monteoliva’s upcoming horror film Welcome to Hell – or, as the movie is called in its native Argentina, Bienvenidos al infierno. We don’t have English subtitles for the trailer at this time, but if you’re as interested as I am in seeing an Argentine horror movie about a Satanic death metal band pursuing a pregnant woman, you can check it out in the embed above. The concept and visuals are enough to sell me on Welcome to Hell, I don’t need to understand what the characters are saying until I watch the full movie.
Scripted by Camilo De Cabo, Welcome to Hell has the following synopsis:
To escape the leader of a Satanic death metal band and the father of her unborn child, Lucia moves to a remote cabin in the forest with her grandmother. Though safe in her surroundings, she is haunted by his memory and knows he will stop at nothing to track her down.

Here’s some more information:
Lucia lives secluded in a remote cabin in the middle of a forest with her grandmother, a mysterious and mute old woman. Lucia came to the inhospitable house of her grandmother to escape from the Black Monk. He is the dark and ruthless leader of a sect and father of the child she expects, who plans to murder both her and her baby, in the frame of a ritual. Lucia believes none of her former companions know where she has gone. So she lives her life, thinking she is safe. But she goes through her pregnancy with regret, tormented by nightmares and memories, and annoyed by the tense relationship she has with her strange grandmother.
Welcome to Hell screened at the Sitges Film Festival last October, and is now set to be released through the Screambox streaming service on July 12th.
