As a child those winged monkeys from THE WIZARD OF OZ used to scare the shite out of me. I don’t think the titular baddies from SyFy’s FLYING MONKEYS (originally titled WINGED TERROR) will have the same effect on me, but we’ll find out this weekend as the network will be airing the SyFy Original on March 9 at 9/8c, and we have the TV spot for it below.

Visual effects supervisor Robert Grasmere, who worked on THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES, PREDATOR 2 and PRINCE OF DARKNESS, makes his directorial debut with this new spin on the creatures made famous as the Wicked Witch of the West’s henchmonsters.
