One original genre project of the last few years that I absolutely loved was Scott Glosserman’s BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON. I think it’s safe to say I was literally blown away by this one… Well not literally blown away, but you get the idea. So when an inkling of an update on the film’s long-awaited sequel finds it’s way to these here interwebs you can bet I’m going to take it upon myself to tell you all about it!
Said updated, which is coming from the guys at Dread Central, has the first film’s writing/directing team of David Stieve and Scott Glosserman just about finished with the script for BEHIND THE MASK 2 with the hopes of starting production in Spring 2011. Natch! That’s only a few months away! Can it be true? Let’s hope so!
Unfortunately that’s all we’ve got on BEHIND THE MASK 2 but after years of no news at all this little update is entirely welcomed! While we wait for official word on the status of BEHIND THE MASK 2 be sure to visit ‘Mr. Leslie Vernon’ on Facebook and Twitter!
