What Happened to the Olsen Twins?

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are an institution. From their debut on Full House, where both twins shared the role of Michelle Tanner (starting when they were only infants), the two sisters grew up never out of the public eye. While popular on the show, they parlayed their success to become a brand, launching a series of successful direct-to-video movies, followed by big-screen outings such as It Takes Two and New York Minute. But, what’s extra impressive about the twins is that, despite growing up under a microscope, the two seem to have always had an excellent sense for business, to the point that both are almost retired at this point, at the run old age of only thirty-six.

Neither Mary-Kate nor Ashley Olsen ever generated much controversy, with even tabloid coverage of the two rarely going beyond teenage hijinx. Their sister, Elizabeth Olsen, is famous for playing Scarlet Witch in the MCU movies, and she’s always been outspoken about how her two sisters supported her in her career. Indeed, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are pretty good role models, and in this episode of What Happened to This Celebrity, we look and see if their two women may, someday soon, decide to make a comeback. This episode of What Happened to this Celebrity is written (with Brad Hamerly), produced and narrated by Taylor James Johnson, and edited by Kier Gomes.
