What would an animated Scott Pilgrim film look like? A lot like this…

JoBloJoBlo

Universal Pictures commissioned Adult Swim to create an animated short film to coincide with the release of SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD and after airing on TV last night, it’s online to watch now. The four-minute clip was approved by both Edgar Wright and Bryan Lee O’Malley and was created by Titmouse Studios, who have experience working with on “Puffy Ami Umi,” “Dexter’s Laboratory” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

Michael Cera, Alison Pill, Jason Schwartzman and Mae Whitman return to voice characters in the film though not all necessarily the same characters they are in the movie (I’ll let you see if you can figure out who’s who). You get to see some early “Scott Pilgrim” stuff (something like a prequel) from the Lisa Miller days, which aren’t mentioned in the film at all.

You can check out the entire animated SCOTT PILGRIM short film below and remember SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD is in theaters today!
