We got a press release and a still today for the upcoming horror film UNDER THE BED, which is the latest from AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION director Steven C. Miller. Flick is described as an homage to classic Amblin productions like Steven Spielberg’s POLTERGEIST.
Jonny Weston and Gattlin Griffith play brothers,
Neal and Pauly, respectively; Peter Holden, Musetta Vander and Kelcie Stranahan round out the cast. Holden plays Terry, the
brothers’ father, while Vander stars as the stepmother Angela. Stranahan plays Cara, Neal’s love interest.
All that’s fine and well, but what’s it actually about? Details are thin, but I suppose we can assume from both the title and the above image that it’s about… a monster under the bed! (Click on the image to get a better peek at the monster’s grasping claw.)
Producing the project are Bloody-Disgusting founder Brad Miska and A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE executive producer Zak Zeman. Eric Stolze wrote the screenplay.
Hopefully we’ll get more info on this flick soon.
