Whiteout gets Gabe

I think actor Gabriel Macht had a sex change. He might not be aware of it though.

Macht is starring with Kate Beckinsale in the chilly crime movie WHITEOUT, an adaptation of Greg Rucka’s excellent graphic novel. The story follows a cynical female US Marshal assigned to desolate Antarctica, where she’s tasked with solving a murder and conspiracy at a research station. In the comic she’s paired with a female agent, but the film execs must’ve decided that was a little too much estrogen and lesbian-tinted tension for the average audience, so the admittedly likeable Macht will instead add opposing beefcake as a UN agent helping her solve the case.

The Warner Bros. flick comes from superproducer Joel Silver and director Dominic Sena, attempting to atone for the flaccid SWORDFISH and GONE IN 60 SECONDS.
