Secret Santa Mike McMurran

Want to know how to draw my attention to your film? One way is to describe it as a "bloodsoaked love letter to classic holiday horror and slasher films from the 1970s and 80s". That's exactly how Mike McMurran's feature directorial debut SECRET SANTA is being described, and after reading that I'm now looking forward to seeing his movie.

The fact that the trailer, which can be seen below, has that retro, GRINDHOUSE faux trailer style doesn't hurt. If we can't get Eli Roth's THANKSGIVING, at least we can get Mike McMurran's SECRET SANTA.

A group of eccentric college kids, struggling to get through their hectic exams, decide to throw a holiday party, adding a Secret Santa exchange for fun. Little do they know a killer is in town and has made a special list and each one of them has a special present waiting for them.

Wild Eye Releasing is bringing SECRET SANTA to DVD and Digital HD on December 13th, and if this movie sounds like your idea of a good stocking stuffer you can pre-order your copy of the DVD right now on Amazon.

The DVD's bonus features include an audio commentary with McMurran and a behind-the-scenes documentary.
