Add another name to the cast list for the Michael Bay produced live-action, CG hybrid NINJA TURTLES. Damn that’s a mouthful.
Megan Fox landed the role of April O’Neil with four blonde dudes (Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard and Noel Fishel) lending their voices to the turtles. Now Will Arnett has been thrown into the mix in a secret leading role. They say he won’t be playing Casey Jones, but the roles for Shredder and Splinter are still up for grabs. My guess is that he will be working at the newstation alongside April. Maybe he’ll play a slimey boss that hits on her all the time or something.
Could he be Professor Jordon Perry? Just kidding! Oooo…Tokka or Rahzar? Bebop or Rocksteady? Now you know I’m just playing around here. Even though Splinter and Shredder are up for grabs, I just don’t see him voicing or physically acting in either role.
The new nitty, gritty, dark and apparently “awesome” NINJA TURTLES story was scripted by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL). Paramount will unleash “Turtle Power” upon us on June 6, 2014.
