Last summer, I first shed some moonlight on a cool-sounding action/horror hybrid called WOLVESBAYNE. Now, we finally have the first trailer for the flick. It appears to be a pretty stylish display of sharp-tooth beasties going head to head. You can check out the trailer for yourself by clicking right here. This WOLVY has definitely got a sort of UNDERWORLD-ish vibe to it. Plus, that poster up top is pretty bad-ass. Here’s a basic summation of the plot:
A heroic, newly transformed werewolf (played by Jeremy London, THE BABYSITTER) is recruited by a team of vampire hunters to save the world from a Nazi sword-wielding vampire cult leader (played by Marc Dacascos, BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF) and his vampish cohort (Yancy Butler, WITCHBLADE, HARD TARGET).
How can a concept like that lose? I’m certainly game for checking it out. WOLVESBAYNE will be coming our way from director Griff Furst (I AM OMEGA) and writer Leigh Scott (THE DUNWICH HORROR). It also stars Christy Carlson Romano (below) and Rhett Giles. The release is set for some time in 2009.
