Woman who accused Jonathan Majors of assault, also arrested… for assault

Grace Jabbari was arrested this week but will not be prosecuted, as Jonathan Majors awaits trial next month.

Jonathan Majors may have just gotten a break as far as his reputation goes, as Grace Jabbari – the woman who accused him of assault and harassment back in March – was arrested for “suspicion of misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief”, according to The New York Times.

Grace Jabbari’s arrest was a result of a counterclaim from Jonathan Majors, who alleged that she was actually the one who assaulted him. Jabbari was not prosecuted, though, and was released. She will, however, have to appear in court at a later date. Despite no prosecution, one does wonder how the public perception of Majors may change. It wouldn’t be much of a surprise if there is indeed a shift; just as many declared Majors guilty immediately after his arrest – his talent agency dropped him the month after – there will most certainly be people that point to Jabbari’s arrest and pin her as the guilty one.

Jonathan Majors was arrested on March 25th, just a few weeks after Creed III – his third movie of the year – was released. With stepping into the ring for the third Creed, a stellar turn in Magazine Dreams and being trusted with playing the next key threat in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Majors was well on the rise of becoming one of Hollywood’s most in-demand stars. Now, even if he’s found not guilty when his trial begins next month, it’s difficult to say if he’ll truly recover – at least in the immediate aftermath.

Even prior to his incredible run at the start of 2023, Majors was quickly building his reputation with movies like Da 5 Bloods, The Harder They Fall and Devotion, not to mention his 2019 run of The Last Black Man in San Francisco, Captive State, Gully, and Jungleland.

Jonathan Majors is facing up to one year in jail if found guilty of the four misdemeanor charges of assault and harassment allegedly towards Grace Jabbari.

Do you think Grace Jabbari’s arrest will have an impact on the public’s views of Jonathan Majors? Do you think he will be found guilty? Give us your thoughts in the comments section below.
