When news initially started for NOW YOU SEE ME, I was interested. If it has to do with magicians, I’ll probably watch it…probably. BREAKING THE MAGICIAN’S CODE? Yes!
The first trailer for the film actually looks like a pretty good time. For once, I don’t have anything terrible or sarcastic to say. I’m sure one of you will fill that role for me. What you will see is Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco as a very talented group of magicians who called themselves “The Four Horsemen”. One night, they decide to pull a Robin Hood. Mark Ruffalo is on the case with his partner, Melanie Laurent. Will they crack the case? I don’t know, but I do know that Morgan Freeman is narrating.
An elite FBI squad is pitted in a game of cat and mouse against “The Four Horsemen,” a super-team of the world’s greatest illusionists. “The Four Horsemen” pull off a series of daring heists against corrupt business leaders during their performances, showering the stolen profits on their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law.
NOW YOU SEE ME is due to release on June 7, 2013.
