We've already beaten the dead horse that is the production of WORLD WAR Z, so I'll skip to today's content, which is a PSA about "crisis zero" aka the zombie apocalypse, which is at the forefront of the film. In the PSA, Dr. Michael Kim explains the crisis is very real and will affect all of us. “We are literally heading from crisis to zero." It's a fitting viral for WORLD WAR Z, but doesn't offer anything in the way of new footage, instead acting as a proper tie in for the film.

I'm looking forward to WORLD WAR Z, not only because I'm a fan of the book (and yes, I'm aware of the massive changes) and am interested to see how they execute the film. I'm equally interested to see the reception once it's released, especially from the online community (i.e. us). Ultimately, we all just want a good film, so hopefully WORLD WAR Z can be at least that, even if it suffers from a difficult production and a PG-13 rating. We'll see.

WORLD WAR Z, directed by Marc Forster and starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Matthew Fox, James Badge Dale, Eric West, and David Morse, starts crisis zero on June 21, 2013.
