Wrong Turn reboot: Clip released ahead of one-night theatrical screening

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Director Mike P. Nelson's reboot of the Wrong Turn franchise is coming to theatres for a one-night event on January 26th, and tickets are now available to buy on FathomEvents.com. Ahead of this event, the folks at IGN got their hands on a clip from the film, which can be seen in the embed above.

Scripted by Alan B. McElroy, who also wrote the original Wrong Turn (watch it HERE), the new Wrong Turn has the following synopsis:

Backwoods terror and never-jangling suspense meet when Jen (Charlotte Vega) and a group of friends set out to hike the Appalachian Trail. Despite warnings to stick to the trail, the hikers stray off course—and cross into land inhabited by The Foundation, a hidden community of mountain dwellers who use deadly means to protect their way of life. Suddenly under siege, Jen and her friends seem headed to the point of no return— unless Jen’s father (Golden Globe nominee Matthew Modine) can reach them in time.

Vega and Modine are joined in the cast by Damian Maffei, Bill Sage, Emma Dumont, Valerie Jane Parker, Chaney Morrow, David Hutchison, Dylan McTee, Adrian Favela, Adain Bradley, Jeremy Ambler, Cory Scott Allen, Gary Ray Stearns, Rhyan Elizabeth Hanavan, Vardaan Arora, Mark Mench, Joshua Stephen Campbell, Jennie Malone, Brian James Fitzpatrick, and Mark Angel.

I'm a big fan of the original Wrong Turn, so I'm curious to see what McElroy has brought us with this one.
