This might be a new record: less than 24 hours after X-MEN: APOCALYPSE was announced by Bryan Singer, the first rumor has surfaced online for movie. Bleeding Cool believes the new film will be a direct sequel to X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
So, as of now, here’s how I believe it stands, based on intel from folk who’d been telling me an Apocalypse film would follow Days. Days of Future Past will lead directly into Apocalypse. X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will be released on May 23rd, 2014, and X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will land in theaters sometime in 2016.
