Like an ill-received theatrical release risen from the ashes of its own mediocrity, 20th Century Fox has announced that X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX has set its Digital and Blu-ray release dates. Set to be packed with hours of extensive special features and behind-the-scenes insights from Simon Kinberg and Hutch Parker, X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX is poised to burn like never before when it invades your preferred media platform of choice.

You can add X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX to your digital collection via Movies Anywhere on September 3 or buy it on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD September 17.

In X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX, Sophie Turner, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence fire up an all-star cast in the culmination of the X-Men saga! During a rescue mission in space, Jean Grey (Turner) is transformed into the infinitely powerful and dangerous DARK PHOENIX. As Jean spirals out of control, the X-Men must unite to face their most devastating enemy yet — one of their own.

While the movie failed to set the X-Men franchise on fire for one last time in theaters, I'm sure that many are looking forward to adding the film to their home library come September. After all, who doesn't want their X-Men collection to be complete? I know damn well that there are a lot of completionists out there, and by now they're likely marking their calendars for when Dark Phoenix hits shelves. As the devil on your shoulder I say do it. You don't want to be that person who frames a puzzle that contains a missing piece, do you? Go ahead, pony up, and start making plans for one hell of a en epic X-Men movie marathon with your friends. To me, my X-Men!
