A24 is bringing the world a new horror film from The House of the Devil (watch it HERE) and The Innkeepers (watch it HERE) director Ti West, and today the company released a poster for the film – which is called X – and promised that a trailer for X is going to be released tomorrow! The poster art can be seen in the Twitter embed below:

West directed X from a screenplay he wrote himself. Details have been kept under wraps so far, but it has been said that the film will be similar to “West’s past films that put him on the map”. All we know is that it has something to do with

the making of an adult film.

X stars Brittany Snow (Would You Rather), Mia Goth (A Cure for Wellness), Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi (Bill & Ted Face the Music), and Jenna Ortega (the new Scream movie).

Co-financed by A24 and Bron, X is produced by A24, Jacob Jaffke, Kevin Turen, Sam Levinson, and Ashley Levinson. Mescudi is executive producer.

There definitely is a “making of an adult film” vibe to the poster, which also reveals that X has received an R rating for “strong bloody violence and gore, strong sexual content, graphic nudity, drug use, and language”.

X is the first feature film West has made in six years. He has been primarily working in television lately, directing episodes of Scream, South of Hell, Wayward Pines, Outcast, The Exorcist, The Passage, Chambers, The Resident, Soundtrack, Tales from the Loop, and Them. I haven’t seen all of his TV work, but I have seen his film work, and look forward to seeing what X is going to be like.

If you’re interested in X, make sure to keep an eye out for the trailer tomorrow!
