Xombie Movie Coming?

It wasn’t long ago that we told you about a XOMBIE illustrated film heading our way. Well there’s that… and there’s the news today via The Hollywood Reporter that an actual XOMBIE feature film is currently in the works!

DreamWorks are currently in negotiations to pick up XOMBIE from cop/detective/screenwriter Will Beall. His script is based on JamesFarr’s XOMBIE, which centers on a zombie cop named Dirge who attempts to saves humanity’s remnants, particularly a young girl named Zoe, from evil zombies. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci would be producing.

DreamWorks are looking to score the rights to the source material as well as Beall’s script. As far as the plot for the film goes… that remains a mystery. So that’s that. A live action XOMBIE flick? I’d definitely be down for that! Keep it here for more on any form of XOMBIE as we hear it!
