Yellowstone: Trailer for season five explodes online

The trailer for the fifth season of the hit show Yellowstone dropped online. TV’s number one show for the Paramount Network will make its way back onto screens on Sunday, November 13, with the premiere of its highly anticipated fifth season with two new episodes. Last season was a record-breaking one for the Kevin Costner series, and the new trailer showcases a new phase for the Dutton family.

The explosive new season shows Costner’s character, John Dutton, being sworn in as the new Governor of the state of Montana. As he becomes part of the system, chaos ensues as enemies and “war” immediately follow his indoctrination. Fans of the show are also now welcome to sign up for a new official Yellowstone Newsletter. The official synopsis for the show:Yellowstone chronicles the Dutton family, led by John Dutton (Kevin Costner), who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and vicious business rivalries.”

Yellowstone comes from Academy Award-nominated writer and director Taylor Sheridan, known for such films as Sicario and Hell or High Water as well as the new Stallone series, Tulsa KingThe cast for season five features a critically-acclaimed ensemble cast including Academy Award winner Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, with Mo Brings Plenty, Wendy Moniz, Jen Landon, and Kathryn Kelly upped to series regulars. The upcoming season will also feature the return of Josh Lucas as young John Dutton alongside Jacki Weaver, Kylie Rogers, and Kyle Red Silverstein, with Kai Caster and Dawn Olivieri joining the star-studded cast. 

The season four premiere was cable’s highest-rated show with 14 million viewers, and you can catch the premiere of the fifth season with the first two episodes on the Paramount Network on Sunday, November 13.
