Zombies are awesome. No doubt about that one. Those pesky little flesh eaters have their own category of the genre and whether you’re looking for a trashy B flick or an epic film… you can find that within the zombie universe. Let’s see where ZMD: ZOMBIES OF MASS DESTRUCTION falls.
ZMD comes from director Kevin Hamedani and has a synopsis that reads: Life is wonderful for the people in the quiet, island town of Port Gamble….until a zombie virus outbreak! Well you can’t go wrong with that. The MPAA recently slapped this bad boy with a rating, and in the process spilled the news that After Dark Films have gone and snagged up ZMD. What does this mean? Well I suppose there’s a good chance ZMD could end up as one of this year’s 8 Films to Die For. Hmmm…
But back to that rating. ZMD scored a nice juicy R rating for strong bloody zombie violence and gore, language, sexual references and brief drug use. Violence, gore, language, sex and drugs. Everything but the kitchen sink huh? Anyway I’ve gone ahead and thrown up the trailer for ZMD below. Scope it out and keep it here for more ZMD news as we hear it.
