What’s there left to do with the zombie genre? Drop some of the undead in the war in the Middle East of course!
That seems to be the premise for the comicbook ZMD: ZOMBIES OF MASS DESTRUCTION, which Benderspink just scored film rights for according to Variety.
ZMD comes from Kevin Grevioux, who is also the man behind the UNDERWORLD franchise.
The full plot, according to Variety, reads: Project revolves around a government weapons program that drops photosensitive zombies into war zones at night to destroy the enemy population. When one of these zombies somehow escapes in the Middle East, a team of elite soldiers must enter hostile territory to stop a growing zombie army.
So we have the United States against a bunch of Middle Eastern zombies in the middle of a war zone… hell I’ll check it out!
Benderspink is set to have a booth set up at Comic Con, so maybe we’ll have more info for you all regarding ZMD soon.
