We’ve seen zombies tackle just about everything. From England to planes to malls to carrying guns, zombies have done a lot over the years. But they’ve yet to get involved with motorcycles… until now.
So when there’s a story over at Variety talking about zombies and bikers, we’ve got to tell you about it. I’m talking about CHOPPER ZOMBIE.
CHOPPER ZOMBIE is gearing up to be a graphic novel with the film going into production next year. Producer Thom Beers is the man behind these projects with his company Original Prods.
Devil’s Due are the ones publishing the CHOPPER ZOMBIE graphic novel with Todd Livingston penning it and Scott Keating doing the art. It’ll be making it’s debut at ComicCon this month, then it’ll hit store shelves July 30.
The film will go into production sometime next year with Beers and Philip Segal producing. The synopsis for the graphic novel and film reads: A motorcycle builder refuses to sell his formula for a new superfuel to a dangerous corporation. When a team of thugs drowns him in his own toxic creation, he rises from the dead with a score to settle.
Sounds a bit like THE TOXIC AVENGER, escept with zombies… and motorcycles. Sounds good to me, here’s hoping we get a nice twist to this one though. As always, we’ll keep you updated.
