Zombie directs CSI?

Oh Rob Zombie. What a wicked web we weave huh? The director recently hit us with HALLOWEEN 2 and then decided to leave the game for a bit. That’s no secret. After H2 Zombie returned to the music side of entertainment with plans to eventually get back behind the camera for THE BLOB and TYRANNOSAURUS REX but he never mentioned which project would be next. Well how about neither?

Roadrunner Records are reporting that The Pulse of Radio are spreading the word that Rob Zombie is in negotiations to direct an episode ‘of a popular television series based around forensic crime investigation.’ Early speculation from around the net has Zombie tackling an episode of one of the popular CSI programs. Really? Zombie wouldn’t be my first guess for a CSI episode but hot damn does that sound intrguing! Zombie has always had that unique touch to his genre flicks so could we be seeing that cross over to a television show about forensics crime investigation? Nice!

Zombie’s got his latest album, HELLBILLY DELUXE 2, hitting shelves February 2nd so hopefully we’ll soon find out what he’ll officially be tackling after that! As always be sure to keep it here for Zombie updates as we hear them.
