This doesn’t pertain to any kind of media, but it’s still pretty awesome! So I’m here to bring it to your attention. It seems there was a recent Zombie attack in Austin, Texas. Wait.. what?
That’s exactly what a couple road signs warned on an Austin highway this past week. Apparently a couple hackers were looking for a good time and decided to hack into the road signs. You can get a glimpse of what drivers saw above. Now that’s pretty awesome! Here’s most of what the signs read:
ZOMBIES IN AREA! RUN
NAZI ZOMBIES! RUN!!!!
CAUTION! ZOMBIES! AHEAD!!!
RUN FOR COLD CLIMATES
THE END IS NEAR!!!!!!
Imagine cruising on the highway and coming across a sign like this? What would you think. Most people would probably shrug it off, thinking their eyes played a joke on them. Some might notice and find a good laugh in the joke. Others… might actually believe it! Probably not… but that’d be pretty funny. Then again some really gullible people might be holed up in some log cabin somewhere right now waiting for the zombie apocalypse to pass.
I’m thinking we’ve got some big CALL OF DUTY: WORLD AT WAR fans on our hands, considering ‘Nazi Zombies’ is a popular feature in the game. Then again maybe the hackers are fans of DEAD SNOW? Whatever the case it’s pretty crafty. For a news clip on the prank, head on over to KXAN.
