Bad Times at the El Royale shoots up Blu-ray this January

One of the movies that I keep kicking myself for missing in theaters this past year was THE CABIN IN THE WOODS writer-director Drew Goddard's action-crime follow-up BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE (pre-order HERE) starring Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, and Chris Hemsworth. And if you're (sadly) like this guy here and missed the 9/10 flick in theaters, no worries, as today we have official word that the movie will be double and triple-crossing its way to your Digital collection on Movies Anywhere December 18 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD this January.

Here's the rundown on The El Royale:

The El Royale is a run-down hotel that sits on the border between California and Nevada. It soon becomes a seedy battleground when seven strangers — a cleric, a soul singer, a traveling salesman, two sisters, the manager and the mysterious Billy Lee — converge on a fateful night for one last shot at redemption before everything goes wrong.

The action-crime thriller snagged an R-rating via the MPAA for "strong violence, language, some drug content and brief nudity." It will be double and triple-crossing its way to your Digital collection on Movies Anywhere December 18 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD this January 1st.
