iZombie, which recently received a six episode vote of confidence from CW, has just scored a pretty big guest appearance. Kristen Bell will drop by the studio to provide a voice-only cameo for the upcoming episode “Fifty Shades of Grey Matter,” which will emerge from the grave on January 26th.
In the episode, "things get interesting for Liv after she consumes the brain of a young librarian who was poisoned, and who also happened to secretly be an erotic fiction writer." There are no details on Bell's role yet, but based on the information we've been given, it can pretty much be assumed that she'll be playing one of the characters in the central erotic novel. Saucy! If you hated 50 Shades of Grey, here's a chance to see if it's any better with zombies pumped into it.
Season two of iZombie returns on January 12th with "Method Head," in which:
Liv is crushed to discover that the lead actor on her favorite show, "Zombie High" has been murdered on set. Meanwhile, Vaughn (guest star Steven Weber) tests Major's (Robert Buckley) loyalty, and Ravi delivers bad news. Lastly, Blaine receives an unexpected visitor.
The series stars Rose McIver (“Masters of Sex,” “Once Upon a Time”) as Liv, Malcolm Goodwin (“Breakout Kings”) as Clive Babineaux, newcomer Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Robert Buckley (“One Tree Hill”) as Major Lilywhite, and David Anders (“Once Upon a Time,” “The Vampire Diaries”) as Blaine DeBeers. iZombie airs on the CW Tuesdays at 10PM.
