Are there any CHUCK fans out there? If so then this might tickle you in the right spot. The Aussiello Files has just reported that our very own grand-daddy of nightmares, Robert Englund, will be appearing as a villain to the Halloween episode of CHUCK.
From Krueger to Evil Scientist, Englund seems to be doing well these days. Not to mention that the guy already has a few projects in store for us. I’m already gearing up for Englund to open up a can of kung-fu in BRUCE VS. FRANKENSTEIN.
Englund will play Dr. Stanley Wheelwright, an evil scientist who can make your waking life a nightmare. He’ll appear in this season’s sixth episode, titled Chuck Versus Aisle of Terror.
So far CHUCK’S line-up of cameos have been Linda Hamilton, Timothy Dalton, Eric Roberts, Lou Ferrigno, Olivia Munn, Nicole Richie, Old Spice Guy, and Dolph Lundgren.
Maybe you’re not a CHUCK fan and that’s alright too. I don’t blame you for not watching the spy-medy but I will blame you for not catching Englund on the tube. Picturing Englund as an evil scientist is a dream come true but then I’ll be tempting to shout at the screen and tell Englund to stop playing games with syringes and pull out the four bladed bad boy!
Start counting down episodes to the “AISLE OF TERROR” when the series finally premieres on local TV on Monday September 20th.
